Abstract
Kisela indigestija je zdravstveni poremećaj koji se sve češće pojavljuje u stadima mliječnih krava koji može dovesti do ozbiljnih posljedica i pada proizvodnje. Povećani unos lako probavljivih ugljikohidrata, nedostatno puferiranje buraga, nagla promjena krmiva bez prilagodbe i nepravilan redoslijed obroka zajednički dovode do pada ph vrijednosti buražnoga sadržaja ispod 5,5. Zbog povećane kiselosti u buragu dolazi do odumiranja mikrobne populacije, što rezultira smanjenom probavljivošću celuloze. Smanjuje se proizvodnja mlijeka i udio mliječne masti te se javljaju i sekundarne bolesti ruminitis i laminitis. Supklinički oblik bolesti je puno opasniji jer su simptomi indirektni i teže se primijete. Pouzdana metoda dijagnoze je praćenje promjena ph-vrijednosti sadržaja buražnoga soka. Kod kisele indigestije najbitnije su preventivne mjere koje uključuju analizu sastojaka i redoslijed obroka, sprječavanje naglog prejedanja, pripremu hrane odgovarajuće veličine čestica i dodavanje dodataka u obrok.
Abstract (english)
Ruminal acidosis is a health disorder which appears increasingly often in herds of dairy cows and which can lead to serious consequences and a decline in production. Increased intake of easily digestible carbohydrates, insufficient buffering of rumen, sudden change of feed without adjustment and irregular feeding schedule can together lead to a drop of pH value below 5,5 in the content of rumen. Due to increased acidity in the rumen, the extermination of microbe population occurs which results in a decreased digestability of celulose. Milk production and milk fat content are decreasing with the occurence of secondary diseases of ruminitis and laminitis. The subclinical form of the disease is much more dangerous because the symptoms are indirect and harder to detect. A reliable method of diagnosis is observing changes in pH value of the content of ruminal fluid. With ruminal acidosis the most important are preventive measures which include ingredient analysis and feeding schedule, prevention of sudden overeating, preparation of feed with appropriate particle size as well as adding supplements in the meal.
