Abstract
Svinje imaju dobro razvijena osjetila vida, njuha, sluha i okusa. Vole dobro osvijetljena podrucja i hranu slatkog okusa.

Parallel abstract (English)
Pigs have well-developed senses of sight, smell, hearing and taste. They prefer well-lit areas and food of sweet taste. They are very intelligent, social and curious. In the mutual communication pigs rely on olfactory and auditory signals. Their social behavior is characterized by social dominance that appears already at an early age. Dominant animals are males, adult pigs and those of fighting behavior, and strongly built. Good conditions, such as adequate food and adequate space are very important for their growth. Improper care of the pigs can cause changes in behavior patterns and result in abnormal behavior, such as cannibalism, tail biting, sniffing of the abdomen and others. In order to prevent abnormal behavior in pigs, it is necessary to understand the sensory abilities and patterns of normal behavior in pigs.
