Abstract	Značaj soje proizlazi iz kvalitete kemijskog sastava njenog zrna. Prisutnost Kunitz tripsin inhibitora (KTI) u zrnu jedna je od glavnih prepreka u razvoju i širenju komercijalnih proizvoda od soje. Zrno s visokim sadržajem KTI-a potrebno je toplinski obraditi da bi se enzim tripsin inhibitora inaktivirao. Primjenom molekularnih markera moguće je otkriti oplemenjivačke linije soje s niskim sadržajem KTI-a. U istraživanju su korištena četiri različita genotipa koja su poslužila kao roditeljske sorte za dobivanje dvije F2 populacije. Za talijanske sorte poznato je da nose gen za nizak sadržaj KTI-a, dok ga druge dvije sorte ne sadrže. U radu su korišteni uzorci mladog lista s pokušališta Maksimir. Provedena je genotipizacija na dva tipa molekularnih markera za sadržaj KTI-a. Od dva korištena markera, SSR marker Satt228 pokazao se kao učinkovitiji dijagnostički marker i potvrdio je prisutnost homozigotnog nul-alela ti3/ti3 u roditeljskim sortama i genotipiziranim F2 populacijama. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja omogućit će identifikaciju linija s poželjnim genetskim profilom za nizak sadržaj KTI-a i nastavak selekcije.
Abstract (english)	The importance of the soybean is derived from the quality of the chemical composition of its grain. The presence of Kunitz trypsin inhibitor (KTI) in the grain is one of the main obstacles in the development of commercial soybean products. Grains with high KTI content need to be preheated to inactivate the trypsin inhibitor enzyme. Using molecular markers, it is possible to identify soybean breeding lines with low KTI content. Four different genotypes were used in the study, which served as parental varieties to obtain two F2 populations. The Italian cultivars are known to carry the gene for low KTI content, while the other two cultivars do not contain the desired gene. For this study, samples of a young leaf were collected from the experimental field Maksimir. Genotyping was performed using two types of molecular markers for KTI content. Of the two markers used, SSR marker Satt228 proved to be more effective diagnostic marker and confirmed the presence of the homozygous null allele ti3/ti3 in the parental varieties and genotyped F2 populations. The results of this research will help to identify lines with the desirable genetic profile for low KTI and the continuation of selection.
