Due to the long growing period and high yield potential, tomatoes are a crop with high requirements for plant nutrients. Inadequate fertilization leads to the appearance of physiological disorders and a decrease in the quantity and quality of yield. Therefore, based on the level of soil nutrient supply and plant needs, the required amounts of nutrients are added by fertigation. Consequently, a study was conducted with the aim of defining the optimal amounts of macronutrients added by fertigation, required to achieve high and quality yield. In addition to the control fertigated with the recommended amounts of macroelements, increased amounts of phosphorus, calcium and potassium were added by fertigation. The amount of added macronutrients for the purposes of the experiment was increased by 75%. By varying the amount of these macronutrients, their impact on the yield and weight of clusters and fruit color was determined. No significant differences were found between treatments in the yield of fruits harvested from individual clusters. The highest total marketable yield (2.75 kg/plant) significantly higher than yield achieved with other treatments was achieved by plants fertigated with increased potassium concentration. Statistically, the lowest marketable yield (2.3 kg/plant) was determined on control plants. Treatments did not differ significantly in the share of non-marketable fruits, which ranged from 6.00 to 6.52%. The highest intensity of coloration was found in fruits harvested from plants grown with the application of increased potassium concentration.
