Abstract
Prinos zrna i sadržaj proteina u zrnu dva su glavna cilja u programima oplemenjivanja pšenice koji određuju ekonomsku vrijednost sorte pšenice. Međutim, teško je istovremeno poboljšati ova dva svojstva zbog njihove negativne korelacije. Stoga je cilj oplemenjivača pronaći genotipove/linije koji odstupaju od te korelacije te su mnoga istraživanja usmjerena prema povećanju i sadržaja proteina u zrnu i prinosa zrna. Osim korelacije prinosa zrna i sadržaja proteina u zrnu za praktično oplemenjivanje važne su i korelacije prinosa i sadržaja proteina u zrnu s ostalim pokazateljima pekarske kakvoće. Cilj ovog rada bio je usporediti varijabilnost agronomskih svojstava i svojstava pekarske kakvoće između i unutar F4 potomstva kod četiri križanja ozime pšenice, te procijeniti fenotipske korelacije između svojstava. U ovom istraživanju su analizirana agronomska svojstava i indirektni pokazatelji pekarske kakvoće u pokusu koji je uključivao F4 potomstva od četiri biparentalna križanja pšenice provedena prema shemi NC II (Lela×Prima, Lucija×Prima, Lucija×Bc Mira i Lela×Bc Mira) Analizom varijance su utvrđene statistički značajne razlike između križanja za prinos zrna, hektolitarsku masu i sedimentacijsku vrijednost dok za visinu, sadržaj proteina i Pelshenke vrijednost ove razlike nisu bile značajne. Prosječna vrijednost prinosa i hektolitarske mase svih potomstava kao i najboljih pet potomstava bila je najveća za križanje Lela×Bc Mira. Stoga ovo križanje možemo izdvojiti kao perspektivno za razvoj linija/sorti visokog potencijala za prinos i pekarsku kakvoću. Kod svih četiri križanja utvrđena je pozitivna korelacija između sadržaja proteina u zrnu i Zeleny sedimentacijske vrijednosti, što se može uzeti u obzir pri odabiru genotipova za vrhunsku pekarsku kakvoću.

Grain yield and grain quality are two major targets in wheat breeding programs, which determine the economic value of a wheat cultivar. However, it has been difficult to improve these two traits simultaneously due to the negative relationship between. Therefore, a possible breeding strategy is to identify genotypes/lines with favorable deviation from this and many experiments are focused on the improvement of both grain yield and protein content. Correlations of grain yield and protein content with other indicators of brad-making quality are also of great importance. The aim of this study was to compare the variability of agronomic and bread-making quality traits in F4 generations of four winter wheat crosses and to estimate the phenotypic correlations between these traits. In the present study, agronomic and bread-making quality traits were analysed in the experiment including the F4 generations of four biparental crosses of wheat set up according to NC II scheme (Lela×Prima, Lucija×Prima, Lucija×Bc Mira and Lela×Bc Mira). There were significant differences among crosses for grain yield, test weight and sedimentation value, whereas the differences for height, protein content and Pelshenke value were not significant. The mean value of yield and test weight in all progenies, as well as in five best progenies, were the highest for the cross Lela×Bc Mira. Therefore, this cross can be marked as perspective for development of cultivars with high grain yield and bread-making quality. A positive correlation between protein content and Zeleny sedimentation value was determined in all four crosses, which can also be important in selecting the genotypes with best bread-making quality.
