Abstract
Uzgoj drvenastih kultura u današnje vrijeme podrazumijeva upotrebu sustava za navodnjavanje. Analizom klimatskih i pedoloških podataka područja Škabrnje te upotrebom programa CROPWAT 8.0 utvrđeni su nedostaci vode u vegetacijskom periodu jabuke i breskve. Potrebe jabuke za navodnjavanjem iznose 418,2 mm, a za breskvu su 391,8 mm. Ukoliko se na istraživanom području ne bi provodilo navodnjavanje, moguće su redukcije prinosa u prosječnim godinama od preko 30 %, što bi u slučaju sušnih godina iznosilo osjetno više. Maksimalni radni hidromodul za navodnjavanje jabuke iznosi 0,81 l/s/ha, a za navodnjavanje breskve 0,78 l/s/ha. Nakon dobivenih rezultata zaključeno je da najviše prednosti za navodnjavanje drvenastih kultura imaju sustavi navodnjavanja kapanjem.Osim sustava navodnjavanja potrebno je provoditi i ostale mjere gospodarenja jabukom i breskvom u skladu s dobrom poljoprivrednom praksom kao što su: priprema zemljišta za sadnju, izbor podloge i sorte, izbor uzgojnog oblika, plan sadnje, mjere održavanja nasada drvenastih kultura i podizanje vjetrozaštitnih pojaseva.

Planting an orchard these days requiers the use of irrigation systems. Climate and soil data analysis of Škabrnja area using a CROPWAT 8.0 determinated irrigation requirements for apple and peach in the growth period. Irrigation requirement for apple was 419 mm while for peach it was 319,8 mm. Systems with no use of irrigation in normal years could be found with yield reduction of 30 %, but for dry years it could get even higher. Maximum values of irrigation requested for apple and peach for the study area were 0,81 l/s/ha and 0,78 l/s/ha. According to these results it is reccomended to use a drip irrigation system. It is the most efficient system for this study area beacause it saves both water and energy. In addition to irrigation system, the apple and peach orchard management should include the use of other methods in accordance with good agricultural practices, such as: soil preparation, rootstock and cultivar selection, training system, planting plan, management practices and planting windbreaks.
