Abstract
Pravilno određivanje tehnološke zrelosti mrkve i vremena vađenja od bitnog je značaja za dužinu čuvanja, odnosno intenzitet venuća, prerastanja i truljenja tijekom čuvanja. U radu su provedena terenska mjerenja i utvrđivanje radnih učinaka kod vadilice mrkve izvedbe Dewulf P3B kod tri proizvođača na dvije sorte i to kod narančaste mrkve(Maestro F1) i žute mrkve (Mello Yello F1). Terensko mjerenje je obuhvatilo radnu brzinu vadilice, prosječnu masu korijena sa primjesama, prosječnu dužinu korijena,promjer korijena, postotak ne tržne mrkve, te utrošak ljudskog rada. Pratio se i postupak transporta od polja do pogona za obradu mrkve. Zaključeno je kako je radni učinak vadilice Dewulf P3B manji kod sorte Maestro F1, kao i količina izvađene mrkve, u odnosu na sortu Mello Yello F1. Na racionalnu potrošnju goriva i maksimalne radne učinke vađenja korijena mrkve utječu: uvjeti tla prilikom vađenja, stanje usjeva, oblik i dužina parcele, iskustvo traktorista i radnika, te usklađenost traktora i vadilice.

The proper estimation of technological maturing of carrots and extraction time is of vital importance for the duration of conservation, that is for the intensity of wilting, outgrowing and rotting during conservation. The technological maturing begins when the oldest leaves start to die out ecophysiologicaly. This paper conducted the performance testing of the machine for extraction of carrots Dewulf P3B on orange carrot Maestro F1 and yellow carrot Mello Yello F1. The speed of extraction, the mass of the root with impurities, the length of the root, the diameter of the root, the percentage of non marketable carrot and the consumption of human work were measured. The transport process from the field to the plant for carrot processing was monitored. In conclusion we can say that the working performance of the machine for extracting carrots Dewulf P3B and the amount of extracted carrots were lower on the sort of carrots Maestro F1. It is important to respect the periods of harvesting carrots for each sort, so that the usefulness of carrots would be greater. The comparison of 3 producers of carrots was also conducted. The conclusion based on the comparison is that each producer of carrots has different characteristics involving the consumption of fuel, the amount of extracted carrots, the movement speed and the price of 1 kg of carrots.
