The thesis "Creating Space" presents the process of exploration within 3D modeling and animation, and their role in creating and transforming virtual spaces. The focus of the animation is on the character "Gumeni" – the main protagonist who interacts with various scenographies in imaginary spaces. The theoretical part includes an analysis of 3D modeling as a contemporary medium in art, with an emphasis on its broad application across various industries. This section thoroughly explains the concept of modeling within the program, as well as the roles of polygons, texturing, lighting, and rigging in creating convincing digital spaces. The practical part is centered on the creation of the animated character "Gumeni" and the exploration of his movement through diverse virtual spaces. Gumeni, with his unique anatomy, has the ability to adapt to different situations and virtual environments, enriching various scenographies through his movements. The conclusion highlights the importance of animation and interactivity in digital design, and how 3D modeling and animation provide artists with limitless opportunities for expression and creation. The thesis also underscores the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in contemporary artistic practice, especially in the context of rapid technological development.
