Abstract Tema diplomskog rada je sadnja industrijske konoplje.
Abstract (english) The topic of this master thesis is the planting of Industrial hemp. More specifically, it is about a project of the growing this plant for the purpose of generating the proceeds of its resale. The family-owned agricultural holding (hereinafter: FAH), called InKa, appears on the Croatian market in 2019. Its founder and owner is both the author and the holder of this project. This FAH was founded in order to realize the initial idea that is elaborated in this project. From the past, Indian hemp has been known to humans, as well as its various usages. Although there is evidence of its medicinal properties, as well as other benefits and the positive effects of its use, in Croatia it is primary recognized as a narcotic herb or drug. A similar perception is present in other European countries as well in the rest of the world. However, many US and European states have fully legalized the cultivation and use of Industrial hemp, due its benefits and very low percentage of THC. The Republic of Croatia has been increasingly approaching this practice over the past two years. Discussions and researches of the benefits of the Industrial hemp and its products in medicine, pharmacy, cosmetics, as well as in numerous other industries are increasingly being conducted in the Croatian public and practice. Stakeholders from the different sciences and scientific fields have confirmed, and they do the same today, numerous positive properties of this plant, as well as various fields of its application, in which its use generates enviable effects. For this reason, the legalization of the cultivation and use of this plant, both in Croatia and in many other countries in the world, which have not yet done so, is increasingly intensified today. The owner and founder of OPG InKa has been exploring the Croatian market for several years and have recognized the potential of growing and selling Industrial hemp. Initiation and evaluation of the project is justified by the growing demand for this plant and products made from hemp, but also the very low supply on the Croatian market.
