Abstract
Peroksidaze i lakaze su enzimi koji sudjeluju oksidaciji ligninskih podjedinica (monolignola) u slobodne radikale koji se povezuju i tvore molekulu lignina. U ovom radu proučavan je sadržaj lignina, te specifična aktivnost peroksidaza i lakaza u stabljici ječma (Hordeum vulgare L.) sorte Astor tijekom faze klasanja. Izmjerena je aktivnost dviju izoformi peroksidaza i lakaza: ionske (kationske) i kovalentno vezane (anionske). Proporcionalno sadržaju lignina, najveća aktivnost ukupnih peroksidaza i lakaza kao i obje izoforme izmjerena je u prvom internodiju.
Abstract (english)
Peroxidases and laccases are enzymes involved in the polymerization of monolignols into the lignin molecule. Both enzymes are capable to oxidize monolignols into free radicals that serve as intermediates during the process of lignification. In this work, lignin content and the specific activity of peroxidase and laccase was studied in the stem of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivar Astor at heading. Also, activity of both isoforms of peroxidase and laccase was measured: ionic (cationic) and covalently bound (anionic) peroxidases.
