Abstract
Istraživan je utjecaj iste koncentracije Mn, Co i Hg na list i korijen biljaka vrste Pisum sativumL. Utjecaj metala istraživan je mjerenjem aktivnosti katalaze, askorbat-peroksidaze, gvajakolperoksidaze kao i koncentracije proteina, fotosintetskih pigmenata, askorbinske kiseline, H2O2 teprodukata lipidne peroksidacije nakon sedam dana izlaganja. Zabilježen je različit intenzitet odgovora korijena i lista u ovisnosti o testiranom metalu. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su da je korijen primarno mjesto formiranja ROS-a i oksidativnih oštećenja. Višestruka povećanja aktivnosti antioksidativnih enzima u korijenu uklonila su nastali ROS i spriječila širenje oksidativnog stresa u listove. Od tri testirana metala, živa se pokazala kao najtoksičniji metal s izraženim djelovanjem i na list i na korijen.

The same concentration of Mn, Co, and Hg on the leaf and the root of the Pisum sativum L.species has been investigated. The influence of metal was investigated by measuring the activity of catalase, ascorbate-peroxidase, guaiacol-peroxidase as well as the concentration of protein,photosynthetic pigments, ascorbic acid, H2O2, and lipid peroxidation products after seven days of exposure. The leaf and the root have been noted to respond differently depending on the metal tested.The results show that ROS and oxidative damage is primarily formed in the root. Multiple increases in antioxidative enzymes removed the ROS and prevented oxidative stress from spreading to the leaves.Three metals were tested, and mercury proved to be the most toxic of them, with major impact on both the leaf and the root.
