Abstract
Istraživanje obraštajnih zajednica na umjetnim staklenim podlogama provedeno je u Sakadaškom jezeru,poplavnom području Kopačkog rita. U razdoblju od travnja do prosinca 2009. godine praćene su promjenevodostaja Dunava, fizikalno-kemijskih svojstava vode jezera, te promjene ukupne biomase i kvalitativnog ikvantitativnog sastava alga u obraštajnim zajednicama. Raznolikost vrsta alga u obraštaju je bila velika te jezabilježeno ukupno 337 vrsta među kojima je najveći broj pripadao skupini Chlorophyta (47 %) i razreduBacillariophyceaea (26 %). Velike i dugotrajne poplave, slabije razvijene fitoplanktonske zajednice i dobrorazvijena fauna na podlogama pridonijele su postupnom i dugotrajnom razvoju obraštaja i dominaciji dijatomejaklasificiranih kao R-stratezi. U jesen, s prestankom plavljenja, fauna na podlogama je i dalje bila dobrorazvijena, zajednice alga su bile kvantitativno bogatije, a dominirale su dijatomeje i zelene alge koje priliježu uzpodlogu. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da uz dinamiku plavljenja, dobro razvijena fauna u obraštaju možeznačajno utjecati na kvalitativni i kvantitativni sastav alga te onemogućiti izdizanje alga od podloge, a time irazvoj bogate trodimenzionalne strukture obraštaja.

Periphyton communities on artificial glass slides was studied in Lake Sakadaš. In the period April to December 2009,Danubian water level, physico-chemical properties of the lake water as well as the periphyton biomass and qualitativeand quantitative algal composition were investigated. In total of 337 algal taxa, mostly Chlorophyta (47 %) and Bacillariophyceaea (26 %) were found. Periphyton development was slow due to the high and longlasting flooding conditions, poorly developed phytoplankton and well developed fauna on the surface of the substratum. Diatoms,classified as R-strategist dominated in the communities. In autumn, algal abundance increased and diatoms and green algae tightly attached to the supstratum dominated. Results of investigation showed that besides flooding, welldeveloped fauna can influence periphytic algal community structure and disable development of rich trodimensional periphyton structure.
