Abstract
U nizinskim vodotocima povećana koncentracija nutrijenata uvjetuje smanjenje broja vrsta makrofita i izmjenu submerzne slobodno plivajućom vegetacijom. U ovom su radu istraživani sastav makrofita i stanišni uvjeti na 17 lokaliteta u mreži kanala Baranje tijekom lipnja (proljeće) ikolovoza (ljeto) 2013. godine. Najveća pokrovnost makrofita bila je tijekom ljeta, kada su prevladavale submerzne vrste, ali je veća raznolikost makrofita utvrđena u proljetnom razdoblju. Analizom submerznih makrofita utvrđena je povećana pokrovnost vrsta roda Ranunculus i Potamogeton u proljeće te dominacija vrsta Ceratophyllum demersum i vrsta roda Myriophyllum u ljeto. Među slobodno-plivajućom vegetacijom povećana je pokrovnost vrsta Hydrocharis morsus ranae i Salvinia natans tijekom ljeta i istovremeno smanjena pokrovnost vrsta Lemna gibba i Spirodela polyrhiza. Na sastav makrofita najviše su utjecali širina kanala, koja je ključni čimbenik neovisno o sezoni, a zatim pH i koncentracija nitrata. Veća raznolikost submerznih i flotantnih vrsta zabilježena je u širim i dubljim vodotocima, dok je vrsta Myriophyllum spicatum karakteristična za uže vodotoke s većom koncentracijom nitrata i višim pH. Mreža kanala Baranje stanište je ugroženim i osjetljivim vrstama Hrvatske flore, ali istovremeno omogućava ulazak stranim i invazivnim vrstama.

In lowland streams increased concentration of nutrients leads to reduced macrophyte speciesrichness and changes in dominance from submerged to free-floating macrophytes. The macrophyte composition and habitat conditions were investigated at 17 sites in the channel network of Baranja during June (spring) and August (summer) in 2013. The highest abundance of macrophytes were recorded during the summer with dominating submerged species, while the greater diversity of macrophytes were found in the springtime. The analysis of submerged macrophytes showed the increased abundance of the genus Ranunculus and Potamogetonin the spring, and the domination of Ceratophyllum demersum and Myriophyllum species in the summer. Amongthe free-floating vegetation, during the summer the abundance of Hydrocharis morsus ranae and Salvinia natanswere increased and Lemna gibba and Spirodela polyrhiza were decreased. The channel width had the strongest influence on the macrophyte composition and was a key factor, regardless of the season, followed by pH and nitrate concentrations. In the wider and deeper streams greater diversity of submerged and floating species were recorded, while in narrow streams with higher concentrations of nitrates and higher pH the characteristic species was Myriophyllum spicatum. The channel network of Baranja is habitat of endangered and vulnerable species of Croatian flora, but also allows entry of foreign and invasive species.
