Abstract
Istraživanje razvoja alga na grančicama vrbe provedeno je u Sakadaškom jezeru, u poplavnom području Kopačkog rita. Praćene su promjene fizikalno-kemijskih svojstava vode te kvalitativnog i kvantitativnog sastava alga u epiksilonu razvijenom u proljeće, ljeto i jesen 2012. i proljeće 2013. godine. Alge u epiksilonu razvile su se u svim ekološkim uvjetima, a karakterizirala ih je velika ukupna biološka raznolikost (ukupno utvrđeno 276 vrsta). Sezonski uvjeti utjecali su na sastav dominantnih vrsta alga u obraštaju. Dijatomeje su dominirale u proljeće i jesen, u uvjetima niže temperature vode i manjeg osvjetljenja. U ljeto su uz dijatomeje dominirale i cijanobakterije te zelene alge. U uvjetima dugotrajnog i velikog plavljenja dominirale su vrste otporne nadisturbancije. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju da je drvo vrlo pogodna podloga za razvoj obraštaja i naseljavanje alga,te je pretpostavka da velika količina drva (granja, trupaca i sl.) u poplavnom području može značajno utjecati na primarnu produkciju.

Parallel abstract (English)
The research of algae development on the willow twigs has been conducted in lake Sakadaško jezero, in floodplain of Kopački rit. Changes of the physico-chemical features of the water as well as qualitative and quantitative structure of the algae in epixylon were recorded in spring, summer and autumn 2012 and spring 2013. Algae in epixylon have developed in all environmental conditions, characterized by high overall biodiversity (total 276 species found). Seasonal conditions have influenced on the composition of the dominant species of algae overgrowing communities. Diatoms were dominant in spring and autumn, in conditions of lower temperature water and less lighting. In the summer, along with diatoms, dominant were cyanobacteria and green algae. In terms of long-term and large flooding, species resistant to disturbances were dominant. The results indicate that the wood is a very suitable basis for the development of overgrowing communities and the growth of algae, and the assumption is that a large amount of wood (branches, logs, etc.) in the floodplain can have a significant impact on primary production.
