Abstract
Autohtoni poljoprivredno prehrambeni proizvodi ubrajaju se u višu cjenovnu kategoriju jer sadržavaju dodatnu vrijednost te njihova zaštita doprinosi stvaranju identiteta i prepoznatljivosti regije ili zemlje iz koje potječu. Proizvodi s jednom od zaštićenih oznaka, zaštićeni su od svake zlouporabe ili oponašanja neovlaštenih korisnika tih oznaka. Oznake doprinose vrijednosti proizvoda ali i istovremeno prenose kulturni identitet regije iz koje proizvod potječe, znanje proizvođača i prirodne izvore, stvarajući pri tome jedinstveni identitet proizvoda. Nakon provedenog postupka zaštite na nacionalnoj razini postoji i mogućnost zaštite tih proizvoda na razini EU.
Abstract (english)
Indigenous agri-food products are considered to be in the higher price category because they contain added value to protect the contribution to the identity and recognition of the region or country of origin. Products are one of the trademarks, protected from all misuse or recall by unauthorized users of those marks. Labels add value but also convey the cultural identity of the region from which the product originates, the knowledge of producers and natural resources, while creating a unique product identity. Following a proven process of protection at national level, it is possible to protect these products at EU level.
