Abstract
Uz postojeće institucije i postojeće zakone, ljudske resurse, znanost, tehnologiju i političku regulaciju dolazi se do ugovorenih inovativnih rješenja i pristupa projektiranju pametnog grada. Takav grad teži poboljšanju kvalitete zraka, vode, prirodnih resursa te općenito standarda življenja. Gradovi simboliziraju i centraliziraju mnoge aspekte koji će planet učiniti pametnijim: pametnije obrazovanje, pametnija javna sigurnost, pametniji promet, pametnija uprava…Pametni grad je postao krilatica u urbanom planiranju i akademskim krugovima kao i tema nezasitne pokrivenosti u poslovnim i znanstvenim časopisima. Realizacija „Pametnog grada“ predstavlja značajnu fazu na putu izgradnje budućih integriranih i cjelovitih gradova, koji će omogućiti usklađeno funkcioniranje složenih sustava iz različitih područja. Cilj je ujediniti pamet i duh grada i učiniti ga mjestom življenja zadovoljnih i sretnih građana
