Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Market is a place where supply and demand meet. When we talk about goods market and market structures we also associate concepts such as perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition and oligopoly. Each of these structures has a specific rule of behaviour which is imposed by the company especially when it comes to pricing and determining the size of the output. Among the mentioned stuctures, if we talk about perfect competition, we mean the most extreme form of competition which is, due to its demanding requirements, only theoretically possible. If we talk about the terms perfect and monopolistic competition it is also important to emphasize the existence of a large number of companies. Monopoly at the same time indicates the existence of a company, and oligopoly indicates the existence of a small number of goods suppliers. If we want to bring business to a higher level and to the perfect competitor it is necessary to maximilize the profit or to come to the biggest profit among the existing requirements. This shows us how total profit maximizes in the way that by selling additional production extra profit can not be earned. When we try to define the concept of the profit it can be explained as the difference between total revenue and total cost.
