Abstract
Cilj diplomskog rada je predstaviti značenje kulturnog turizma i kulturnih manifestacija kao pokretača razvoja kulturnog turizma Istočne Hrvatske. Objašnjene su Vinkovačke jeseni i Đakovački Vezovi kao prepoznatljivi brandovi za Istočni dio Lijepe naše. U radu su korištene statističke metode istraživanja koje su provele Turističke Zajednice Grada Đakova i Vinkovaca. Kao što je vidljivo u radu, prezentirani su podatci o broju noćenja i dolazaka za vrijeme Vinkovačkih Jeseni i Đakovačkih Vezova.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is to present the importance of cultural tourism, and manifestations which serve as initiators of cultural tourism in Eastern Croatia. The two events, The Đakovo Festival of Folk Music and Dances and The Vinkovci Autumn Festival were described and explained as recognizable brands for the Eastern part of our beautiful homeland. The research used the statistics methods applied by Touris Offices of Đakovo and Vinkovci. The study also includes the figures about the number of accomodations and visits during these manifestations.
