Abstract
Optimalno izvršavanje zadataka i motiviranje zaposlenika na izvršavanje zadataka nužno zahtijeva kompetencije menadžmenta. O menadžmentu možemo govoriti i kao o vještini, a u kontekstu menadžmenta vještina je talent, kao talent, dar odnosno sposobnost čovjeka da odabere i upotrebljava sredstva i metode za ostvarivanje određenih ciljeva. Nadalje, vještinom se smatraju i radnje usmjerene na postizanje određenih ciljeva, kao i skupovi pravila za čovjekovu djelatnost, razvijenu zbog ostvarivanja pojedinih ciljeva. menadžerske se vještine mogu diferencirati na one osnovne i posebne. Govoreći o osnovnim vještinama, bitno je naglasiti kako svaki efektivni menadžer treba raspolagati osnovnim vještinama poput vještine oblikovanja, rada s ljudima kao i tehničke i konceptualne vještine. Ovisno o razini menadžmenta unutar organizacije zastupljenost navedenih vještina je različita. Poslovni je uspjeh menadžera ovisan o njegovim znanjima i vještinama, a kako bi uspješno obavljao povjerene mu zadatke, menadžer osim navedenoga mora biti spreman na usvajanje poželjnih osobina.
Abstract (english)
Optimal task execution and employee motivation for task execution necessarily requires managment competencies. We can also talk about management as a skill and in the context of management, skill is the talent or ability of man to choose and use means and methods for achieving certain goals. Furthermore, skills are considered to be actions aimed at achieving certain goals, as well as sets of rules for man`s activity, developed for achieving particular goals. Managerial skills can differentiate from basic and special. Speaking of basic skills, it is important to emphasize that every effective manager should have basic skills such as training skills, interpersonal skills,technical and conceptual skills. Depending on the level of managment within an organization, the representation of these skills is different. The business succes of a manager depands on his knowledge and skills, and in order to successfully perform his entrusted tasks, the manager besides the aforementioned must be ready to adopt desirable traits.
