Abstract	CRM se može opisati kao sinergija marketinških, prodajnih te uslužnih funkcija neke organizacije. Različite definicije proizlaze iz različitih vrsta CRM-a, a to su strateški, operativni, analitički i kolaborativni. U pravljanje odnosima može se definirati kao dublje znanje o potrošaču, osiguravanje potrebnih sredstava, osigurati da kupac dobiva ono što on želi od davatelja usluga i razumjeti kada potrošači nisu zadovoljni te djelovati u skladu s tim. CRM u bankarstvu je sasvim drugačiji od ostalih sektora, jer se bankarski sektor isključivo odnosi na financijske usluge, gdje se treba stvoriti povjerenje među ljudima. Potrebno je uspostaviti podršku za brigu o kupcima tijekom i izvan službenih sati, čineći pravovremene informacije o isplatama kamata, zrelosti oročenja, izdavanje kreditnih i debitnih ATM kartica, stvaranje svijesti o online i e-bankarstvu, usvajanje mobilnih zahtjeva itd.
