Abstract
In the contemporary business landscape, the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in driving economic progress is undeniable. These enterprises frequently rely on the assistance of banking institutions to effectively operate and realize their expansion goals. Understanding the strategies, services and products of Zagrebačka banka d.d. intended for this sector will enable an analytical overview of its approach and determine the advantages that the bank provides to its clients. Through this strategic analysis, the research will provide the basis for further improvement of banking institutions' approach to SMEs. Its results can be useful for the banking sector, providing guidelines for the development of innovative products and services and strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises, which are an important engine of economic growth and development.
Abstract (croatian)
U suvremenom poslovnom okruženju, značaj malih i srednjih poduzeća (MSP) u pokretanju gospodarskog napretka je neosporan. Ta se poduzeća često oslanjaju na pomoć bankarskih institucija kako bi učinkovito poslovala i ostvarila svoje ciljeve širenja. Razumijevanje strategija, usluga i proizvoda Zagrebačke banke d.d. namijenjene ovom sektoru omogućit će analitički pregled njenog pristupa i utvrditi prednosti koje banka pruža svojim klijentima. Kroz ovu stratešku analizu, istraživanje će pružiti osnovu za daljnje unapređenje pristupa bankarskih institucija prema malim i srednjim poduzećima. Njegovi rezultati mogu biti korisni za bankarski sektor, dajući smjernice za razvoj inovativnih proizvoda i usluga te jačanje potpore malom i srednjem poduzetništvu koje je važan pokretač gospodarskog rasta i razvoja.
