Abstract	U diplomskom radu dan je pregled dosadašnjih istraživanja koncepta Internet of Things (IoT), značajke koncepta, te moguća primjena na električnim biciklima. Opisane su tehnologije i informacijsko-komunikacijska infrastruktura za potrebe razvoja koncepta IoT, te mobilne mreže i protokoli. Navedene su karakteristike primjene navedene tehnologije na električnim biciklima u povijesti danas te je dan pregled zastupljenosti te industrije u svijetu. Prikazana je primjena tehnologija Interneta stvari u hrvatskoj tvrtki Greyp Bikes koja kombinacijom softvera i hardvera radi na stvaranju korisničkog iskustva. Istraživanje vezano za navedeni koncept i njegovu primjenu na električnim biciklima provedeno je metodom anketiranja ciljane skupine te su utvrđene mogućnosti primjene i potencijalni nedostaci.
Abstract (english)	The thesis gives an overview of previous research on the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT), features of the concept, and possible applications on electric bicycles. It describes technologies and information and communication infrastructure for the development of the IoT concept, as well as mobile networks and protocols. This paper gives the characteristics of the application of this technology on electric bicycles in history and today and provides an overview of the representation of this industry in the world. Presented are the application of Internet of Things technologies in the Croatian company Greyp Bikes, which works with a combination of software and hardware to create a user experience. The method of surveying the target group conducted the research related to the mentioned concept and its application on electric bicycles, and it identified the possibilities of application and potential shortcomings.
