Abstract	U radu se analizira maloprodaja robe široke potrošnje u priobalnim gradovima i otocima u kontekstu ponašanja generacije mladih potrošača. Uz definiranje teorijskih pojmova maloprodaje i robe široke potrošnje, provedeno je i istraživanje na temu analize maloprodaje robe široke potrošnje među mladima u priobalnim gradovima i otocima. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako postoji značajna razlika u mišljenjima između mladih oko dostupnosti i kvalitete robe široke potrošnje u priobalnim gradovima i na otocima. Naime, mladi koji žive u priobalnim gradovima zadovoljniji su i smatraju kako im je na raspolaganju veća dostupnost robe široke potrošnje za raliku od njihovih vršnjaka koji žive na otocima. Problem se javlja oko ponude artikala robe široke potrošnje. Kvalitetom robe široke potrošnje u prodavaonicama nije zadovoljna većina mladih koji žive na otocima, dok su mladi ispitanici koji žive u priobalnim gradovima zadovoljni kvalitetom robe široke potrošnje. Na kraju rada izvodi se sveobuhvatan zaključak.
Abstract (english)	The paper analyzes retail sales of consumer goods in coastal cities and islands in the context of the behavior of the generation of young consumers. In addition to defining the theoretical concepts of retail and consumer goods, research was also conducted on the topic of analyzing the retail of consumer goods among young people in coastal cities and islands. The results of the research showed that there is a significant difference in opinions between young people regarding the availability and quality of consumer goods in coastal cities and islands. Namely, young people who live in coastal cities are more satisfied and believe that they have a greater availability of consumer goods for sale than their peers who live on the islands. The problem arises with the supply of consumer goods. The majority of young people living on the islands are not satisfied with the quality of consumer goods in stores, while young respondents living in coastal cities are satisfied with the quality of consumer goods. At the end of the paper, a comprehensive conclusion is made.
