Abstract
Obrada i analiza slika u današnjem svijetu imaju sve šire primjene. U ovom radu razvijen je i detaljno opisan sustav za klasifikaciju vozila na temelju sadržaja registarske pločice. Sustav se sastoji od podsustava za lokalizaciju registarske pločice, ekstrakciju znakova te klasifikaciju znakova. Implementirani sustav je testiran i dao je obećavajuće rezultate. Na kraju rada analiziraju se dobiveni rezultati te daje pregled mogućih poboljšanja sustava.
Abstract (english)
Image processing and analysis has an increasing role in modern world. In this paper, a detailed explanation of developed system for vehicle classification based on license plate detection is given. The system is composed of three subsystems: subsystem for license plate localization, subsystem for character extraction and subsystem for character classification. The system was tested and promising results were obtained. To conclude, analysis of the obtained results and some possible improvements to solutions presented in this paper are given.
