Abstract	Das Drama „Feuergesicht“ von Marius von Mayenburg behandelt mehrere wichtige Aspekte der modernen Gesellschaft und ist gerade deshalb wichtig. Alles, was dem modernen Leser interessnt vorkommen kann, wird durch ihn auf dem Papier festgehalten und dabei handelt es sich um die wohl wichtigsten Problemfragen der heutigen Menschen. Er behandelt das Thema der Identität und des Individuums genauso sehr, wie er sich mit dem Thema des Menschen als Gesellschaftswesen befasst. Auch die Sprache, die die aktuelle Lage in der Welt charakterisiert, bzw. durch eine immer umgangssprachlichere Ausdrucksweise gekennzeichnet ist, wird von ihm gut erfasst. Mayenburg lässt es sich auch nicht entgehen, von den negativen Aspekten der Gesellschaft zu reden, und gerade die sind es, die in „Feuergesicht“ zur Sprache gebracht werden.
