Abstract	Ovaj diplomski rad podijeljen je u nekoliko poglavlja. U prvim se poglavljima nastoji ukratko prikazati povijest feminizma i valovi od kojih se sastoji. Nakon toga, cilj je upoznati se s Virginijom Woolf, njezinim životom koji je izvršio veliki utjecaj na njezino književno stvaralaštvo. U idućem se poglavlju upoznajemo s njezinim feminističkim idejama izloženima u eseju Vlastita soba u kojemu ističe važnost materijalnih dobara za stvaranje, kao i svoj negativni stav prema stalnom degradiranju i omalovažavanju žena vidljivome i u tome što dugo vremena i nema zapisa o ženskome iskustvu. Nekoliko je riječi posvećeno ženskome pismu s namjerom da se izdvoje neke od njegovih odrednica. Na kraju slijedi analiza romana Svjetionik u kojoj se teži prikazati feminističke ideje Virginije Woolf o kojima je raspravljala u Vlastitoj sobi.
Abstract (english)	This master's thesis is divided into a few chapters. In the first chapters the goal is to demonstrate the history of feminism and the waves of which it consists. Next, the goal is to showcase Virginia Woolf and her life that had a massive impact on her literary work. In the next chapter we come across her feministic ideas demonstrated in the essay A Room of One's Own in which she emphasizes the importance of materialistic goods for creative work and also emphasizes her negative attitude towards constant degrading and humiliation of women seen in the fact that for a long period of time there was no evidence about women' s literary tradition. A few paragraphs are devoted to women writing with the intention to point out some of it's characteristics. In the end the novel To the Lighthouse has been analyzed in order to demonstrate earlier described Virginia Woolf's feministic ideas.
