Abstract	Knjižnica Goethe-Instituta u Zagrebu sastavni je dio kulturnog instituta i kao takva ima veoma značajnu ulogu izvannastavnog mjesta za učenje njemačkog jezika. Teorijski dio rada opisuje povijesni razvoj, ulogu i ciljeve specijalnih knjižnica i Goethe-Instituta u svijetu i Republici Hrvatskoj. Analiziran je knjižnični fond e-knjižnice Goethe-Instituta te knjižnice Goethe-Instituta u Zagrebu s posebnim naglaskom na građu korisnu u procesu učenja i poučavanja njemačkog jezika. Uvod u praktični dio rada čini poglavlje o izvannastavnim mjestima za učenje, u kojem se ističe važnost integracije izvannastavnih mjesta za učenje u nastavu te uloga knjižnice kao izvannastavnog mjesta za učenje. Opisuje se uloga knjižnice u razvijanju kompetencija potrebnih za život u 21. stoljeću kao i važnost implementacije informacijske i komunikacijske tehnologije u proces učenja. Na temelju promatranja radionica u knjižnici GoetheInstituta u Zagrebu osmišljen je primjer vlastite radionice na temu „Božić u knjižnici“.
Abstract (english)	The Goethe-Institute Library in Zagreb is an integral part of the cultural institute and as such plays a very important role as an extracurricular place for learning the German language. The theoretical part of the paper describes the historical development, role and goals of special libraries and Goethe-Institutes in the world and the Republic of Croatia. The library stock of the Goethe-Institute Library in Zagreb and its e-library were analyzed, with particular emphasis on the material useful in the process of learning and teaching German. The introduction to the practical part of the paper is a chapter on extracurricular learning places, which emphasizes the importance of integrating extracurricular learning places in teaching and the role of the library as an extracurricular learning site. The role of the library in developing the competencies needed for life in the 21st century is described, as well as the importance of implementing information and communication technology in the learning process. Based on the observation of the workshops at the Goethe-Institute Library in Zagreb, the author devised her own workshop on the "Christmas in the Library" theme.
Abstract (german)	Die Bibliothek des Goethe-Instituts in Zagreb, die der Bestandteil eines Kulturinstituts ist, spielt als außerschulischer Lernort eine sehr wichtige Rolle beim DaF-Lernen. Der theoretische Teil dieser Arbeit beschreibt die historische Entwicklung, die Rolle und die Ziele der Fachbibliotheken und des Goethe-Instituts in der Welt und in Kroatien. In der Arbeit wird sowohl der Bestand der digitalen Bibliothek als auch der Bestand der Bibliothek des Goethe-Instituts in Zagreb analysiert. Dabei wird der Schwerpunkt auf das Bibliotheksmaterial gelegt, das beim DaF-Lernen und DaF-Lehren äußerst nützlich ist. Die Einleitung in den praktischen Teil der Arbeit stellt das Kapitel über die außerschulischen Lernorte dar, in welchem die Integration der außerschulischen Lernorte in den Unterricht und die Rolle der Bibliothek als außerschulischer Lernort hervorgehoben wird. Weiterhin wird sowohl die Rolle der Bibliothek bei der Aneignung von Kompetenzen, die für das Leben im 21. Jahrhundert notwendig sind, als auch die Wichtigkeit der Umsetzung der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie in den Lernprozess beschrieben. Auf Grund der Workshops, die in der Bibliothek des Goethe-Instituts in Zagreb durchgeführt wurden, wurde ein eigener Workshop zum Thema „Weihnachten in der Bibliothek“ entworfen.
