Abstract	Ovaj diplomski rad pregled je do sada poznatih nalazišta na kojima je iz koštanih ostataka ekstrahirana i analizirana nuklearna DNA. Podatci dobiveni morfološkom analizom kostiju, nadopunjeni podatcima dobivenim sekvenciranjem mitohondrijske i nuklearne DNA omogućuju znanstvenicima bolji uvid u živote arhaičnih populacija tijekom pleistocena. Uz pomoć različitih softvera, statističkih i analitičkih metoda kojima se analiziraju podatci, dolazimo do novih zaključaka o odnosima različitih arhaičnih populacija, ali i o odnosima različitih populacija ranih modernih ljudi. Ovaj rad zasniva se na pregledu podataka iz paleogenetike i paleoantropologije te na pokušaju usporedbe dobivenih podataka sa svrhom boljega razumijevanja života različitih arahičnih populacija tijekom pleistocena.
Abstract (english)	This thesis is a review of the sites with currently available sequences of aDNA extracted from hominin fossils. The information obtained by morphological analysis of the bones from these sites is complemented by the information obtained by sequencing mitochondrial and nuclear genomes of these individuals. In some cases, the information obtained by sequencing the genomes from the skeletal remains changed the way in which scientists saw the population history of hominin groups, in some cases they confirmed previous conclusions, and in some cases revealed new information that was not available to scientist just from skeletal remains such as admixture events, relatedness of the populations seen from haplogups of mitochondrial DNA and Y chromosome et cetera.
