Abstract
Svrha ovoga rada je dati pregled i analizu utjecaja komunističkih ideologija na vrednovanje arhivskog gradiva u Jugoslaviji od 1945. do 1991., kao i sadašnje stanje arhivske građe u Republici Hrvatskoj u tome kontekstu. Ideologizacija vrednovanja arhivskog gradiva se usko povezuje s kritikom utjecaja marksističko-lenjinističke ideologije na vrednovanje koju je prvi predstavio Hans Booms 1972. Boomsova kritika arhivističkog sustava Istočne Njemačke temelji se na tvrdnji da je arhivistika bazirana na, već spomenutoj, ideologiji superiornija nad svim ostalim pristupima arhivskoj teoriji i praksi. Vrednovanju, kao jednom od ključnih procesa arhivistike, pridaje posebnu pažnju. Promatrajući s povijesnog stajališta, vrednovanje arhivskog gradiva se vrlo često oslanjalo na subjektivnost arhivista i osobno poimanje vrijednosti te je arhivistima Istočne Njemačke upravo zbog toga bilo lakše primijeniti određenu ideologizaciju na sam proces. Jugoslavija, kao država u kojoj je politička ideologija bila prisutna, može poslužiti kao dobar primjer za analizu pozitivnih i negativnih karakteristika ovog pristupa vrednovanju. Analizom i shvaćanjem prevladavajućeg sustava u Jugoslaviji moguće je uočiti njegov utjecaj na trenutno stanje i količinu arhivskoga gradiva u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this thesis is to provide an overview and analysis of the influence of the communist ideologies on the archival appraisal in Yugoslavia from 1945 to 1991, long with the current state of the archival records in Republic of Croatia in that context. The ideologization of archive appraisal is closely related to the Hans Booms' criticism of the Marxism-Leninism influence on appraisal. Booms' criticism of the archival systems in East Germany is based on the notion that the archival science influenced by the already mentioned ideology is far superior to the rest of the archival approaches in archival theory and practice. He particularly gives attention to the appraisal, as it is one of the key processes in the archival practice. From the historical point of view, archival appraisal was often based on subjectivity of the archivists and a personal understanding of value, so it was significantly easier for the archivists in East Germany to ideologize the whole process. Yugoslavia, as a country in which the political ideology existed, can be used as a good example of both positive and negative characteristics of this approach to appraisal. With analysis and understanding of the prevailing archival system in Yugoslavia, it is possible to identify its influence on the current state and amount of archival records in Croatia.
