Abstract
U radu su objašnjeni porezi, njihova podjela, porezni sustav, porezna politika s ciljem jasnijeg shvaćanja cijelog rada. Uz to je objašnjen porezni sustav Republike Hrvatske kakav je danas. Porezne reforme od 1990-ih pa sve do danas ukazale su na mnoge promjene u poreznom zakonu. Porezne reforme u Republici Hrvatskoj, prema istraživanju, podigle su životni standard građana. No, postavlja se pitanje da li su česte promjene dobre za građane i poduzetnike. Treba se postići što pravedniji, jednostavan i stabilan sustav koji bi omogućio gospodarski rast države.
