Abstract	Zračna luka je mjesto gdje postoji najveća mogućnost kompromitiranja sigurnosti, odnosno ugrožavanja zračnog prometa. Prema tome primarni cilj, u smislu zaštite svake zračne luke, je: zaštita putnika, zaštita posade, zaštita osoblja zračne luke, zaštita posjetilaca, zaštita objekata zračne luke. Funkciju zaštite zračne luke izvršava policija, službe sigurnosti, specijalna policija i vojska. Primarnu funkciju zaštite civilnog zrakoplovstva ima policija i službe sigurnosti, dok specijalna policija i vojska djeluju po potrebi, u specijalnim slučajevima. Zadaća policije i službi sigurnosti je zaštiti civilno zrakoplovstvo od nezakonitog djelovanja, odnosno otkrivanje i spriječavanje krivičnih djela,kao i djelovanje u izvanrednim situacijama koje se tiču zaštite i sigurnosti civilnog zrakoplovstva.
Abstract (english)	The airport is a place, where is the greatest possibility compromising the secuirty or endangering air traffic. Primary focus in terms of protection of each airport is: protection of passengers, protection of the crew, protection of airport personnel, protection of visitors, protection of airport objects. Function of protecting the airport is done by police, security services, special police and army. The primary function of protection of civil aviation has the police, the security services, while the special police and army work as needed, in special cases. The tasks of the police and security services for the protection of civil aviation against unlawful activity is to detect and protect crime, as well as an action in emergency situations concerning protection and safety of civil aviation.
