Abstract	Udio turističkog sektora u hrvatskom gospodarstvu iznosi gotovo jednu četvrtinu. Ukoliko dođe do poremećaja u turističkom prometu, to neće prouzročiti krizu samo u turističkom sektoru već krizu u ukupnom hrvatskom gospodarstvu. Turistički sektor je sam po sebi jedan od najranjivijih sektora te je vrlo važno znati kvalitetno upravljati krizama kada do njih dođe. Uglavnom nije pitanje hoće li doći do kriza, nego kada će doći i kakve će one biti. Iz navedenih razloga vidljivo je kako je vrlo važno imati planove upravljanja kako bi institucije bile spremne ponuditi odgovarajuće i pravovremene odgovore na krizu. Hrvatska nema dovoljno dobro razvijen sustav upravljanja krizama koji uključuje prevenciju, pripremu, reakciju i oporavak, stoga je osnovni cilj ovog istraživanja odgovoriti na pitanje kako se u Hrvatskoj upravlja krizama u turističkom sektoru. U ovom radu analizira se upravljanje krizama u turističkom sektoru u Hrvatskoj na primjeru krize izazvane nekontroliranim širenjem koronavirusa.
Abstract (english)	The share of the tourism sector in the Croatian economy is almost a quarter. If there emerges a disruption in tourist traffic, it will not only cause a crisis in the tourism sector but a crisis in the overall Croatian economy. The tourism sector is, in itself, one of the most vulnerable sectors and it is very important to know how to manage crises well when they occur. Mostly the question is not whether there will be a crisis, but when it will emerge and what they will be like. Hence, it is clear that it is very important to have management plans so that institutions are always ready to offer appropriate and timely responses to the crisis. Croatia does not have a sufficiently well-developed crisis management system that includes prevention, preparation, response, and recovery, so the main goal of this research is to answer the question of how to manage crises in the tourism sector in Croatia. This paper analyzes crisis management in the tourism sector in Croatia on the example of a crisis caused by the uncontrolled spread of coronavirus.
