Abstract
Na putu prema ostvarivanju cilja čiste i održive energije automobilska industrija mora se suočiti s problemom emisije ugljikovog dioksida. Sve stroži ekološki standardi otvorili su vrata električnim automobilima, ali i postavili ograničenja pri proizvodnji automobila s unutarnjim izgaranjem. Smanjenje mase u proizvodnji novih automobila jedno je od rješenja da bi se ti standardi zadovoljili. Polimerni kompoziti ojačani ugljičnim vlaknima materijali su odličnih svojstava pa upravo njihova primjena kao zamjena za konvencionalne metale pri proizvodnji automobila rezultira smanjenjem mase automobila. Zbog visoke cijene izrade još uvijek nisu našli veliku primjenu u serijskoj proizvodnji, ali zbog sve veće primjene i u drugim granama industrije, očekuje se da će se tehnologija proizvodnje razviti, što bi dovelo do masovnije proizvodnje i pada cijene izrade. Recikliranje takvih materijala jedno je od rješenja prema boljoj iskoristivosti, ali i prema održivoj proizvodnji. U ovom završnom radu prikazan je noviji razvoj polimernih kompozita ojačani ugljičnim vlaknima, njihova najnovija primjena u automobilskoj industriji i do sada, ali i zbog čega se smatra da će se oni u budućnosti primjenjivati sve više.
Abstract (english)
On the way to achieving the goal of clean and sustainable energy, the automotive industry must face the problem of carbon dioxide emissions. Increasingly stricter environmental standards have opened the door for electric cars, but also set limits on the production of internal combustion cars. Reducing the weight in the production of new cars is one of the solutions to meet these standards. Carbon fibre-reinforced polymer composites are materials with excellent properties, and their use as a substitute for conventional metals in car production results in a reduction in car weight. Due to the high cost of production, they have not yet found great application in serial production, but due to the increased application in other industries, production technology is expected to develop, which would lead to more mass production and lower production costs. Recycling of such materials is one of the solutions towards better efficiency, but also towards sustainable production. This Bachelor thesis presents recent development of carbon fibre reinforced polymers, their most current application in the automotive industry as well as a brief historical overview, but also why it is believed that they will be used more in the future.
