Abstract
In this thesis, I will introduce artificial intelligence and its positive and negative influences on society and environment. Furthermore, I will be mostly focused on tourism in digital age and changes it faced in past two decades, such as: new business models; innovations in management and marketing; new perception of destinations, services and tourist offers; innovations in tourist facilities; challenges in sustainable tourism; automation of processes in tourism. Moreover, I will present results of the research provided, which is also considered as main part of thesis and it presents people’s attitudes towards substitution of humans with robots in tourism and hospitality. At the end of the thesis I introduced innovations that mostly influenced growth of tourism in past few decades, and presented possible predictions of tourism development in the future.
