Abstract
The main motive for writing this paper work was to explore and see how is health tourism developing in Croatia, but mainly in most promising part of country when it comes to this type of tourism – Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. At the beginning of writing this paper work I came across some obstacles, like lack of literature and informations specifically related to this area. But what I learned during the process of writing this, Kvarner region is not only becoming more popular and recognizable, but also starts to take significant place on tourist map as health tourism destination. Health tourism is broad term, and it could be described even more than I managed to do it, but here are some most common and known informations that I gathered and connected in one compact unit.
