Abstract
It is well-known that Croatia reveals many natural beauties, thanks to which every year it develops tourism and brakes new records in overnight stay, regardless who it is about, foreign or domestic tourists. As tourism evolved, health tourism has emerged as a form of tourism in which an individual person temporarily changes theirplace of residence to a more favorable climate or bathing location for health preventative, curative or rehabilitation. There are three forms of health tourism: wellness, curative and medical tourism. Medical tourism implies organized pathways to improve human health through certain medical interventions. It is mainly done in medical offices, clinics and hospitals. Dental tourism is one of the form of medical tourism, and is looked upon as a patient's journey from the home country for the purpose of getting dental health services. Dental tourism is becoming more and more popular in Croatia and Europe due to the importance of maintaining dental health and esthetic beauty.Important factors of choosing a particular destination for the use of dental tourism services are price and quality as well as what the destination can offer regarding cultural and historical heritage andnatural beautieswhich all greatly contribute to having advantages when compared to other countries.

Poznato je da se Hrvatska očituje mnogim prirodnim ljepotama, zahvaljujući kojima svake godine razvija turizam i obara rekorde u noćenjima, bilo stranih ili domaćih turista. Kako se turizam razvijao, tako je nastao i zdravstveni turizam, a to je oblik turizma u kojem pojedinac privremeno mijenja svoje mjesto boravka u povoljnije klimatsko ili kupališno mjesto radi zdravstvene preventive, kurative ilirehabilitacije. Prepoznaju se tri oblika zdravstvenog turizma i to wellness, lječilišni i medicinskiturizam. Medicinski turizam podrazumijeva organizirana putovanja u svrhu poboljšanja zdravljačovjeka kroz određene medicinske intervencije. Odvija se pretežito u medicinskim ordinacijama,klinikama i bolnicama. Dentalni turizam jedan je od oblika medicinskog turizma, a predstavljaputovanje pacijenta iz matične zemlje u svrhu ostvarivanja dentalne zdravstvene usluge. Dentalni turizam postaje sve više popularan u Hrvatskoj i Europi zbog važnosti održavanja zdravlja zubiju i estetske ljepote. Kao važni fakrori odabira određene desinacije za korištenje usluge dentalnog turizma su cijena i kvaliteta te ono što destinacija može ponuditi što se tiče kulturnih i povjesnih znamenitosti, prirodnih ljepota, a zbog kojih Hrvatska ima veliku prednost.
