Abstract
Bosutska nizina, kroz koju prolazi rijeka Bosut, zemljopisno je dobro omeđen i izdvojen dio Istočne hrvatske ravnice. To je nizinski, močvarama i krivudavim vodotocima prošarani i znatnim dijelom šumama bogat kraj. Naseljavanjem, razvojem gradova, napretkom znanosti i tehnologije brzo se i drastično izmijenio iskonski izgled ovoga područja. Tome su značajan doprinos dali hidrotehnički radovi. Ovaj rad, u svojoj strukturi sadrži opis prirodnih odrednica Bosutske nizine, prati naseljavanje i gospodarski razvoj toga područja i promjene iskonskog slavonskosrijemskog krajobraza. Analiziran je razvoj sustavnog djelovanja vodnog gospodarstva. Opisane su potrebe i okolnosti u kojima dolazi do izgradnje pojedinih regulacijskih i melioracijskih građevina. Također, istražena je uloga i način funkcioniranja hidrotehničkih građevina te cjelokupnog hidrotehničkog sustava kao funkcionalne cjeline. U zadnjem dijelu rada analizirani su planovi daljnjeg uređenja sustava i ekološki problemi koji se javljaju na Pobosuću. Cjelokupna analiza upućuje na zaključak da je hidrotehnički sustav Pobosuća dinamičan, složen i jedinstven; nastajao je dugi niz godina, a postojeće stanje zahtjeva održavanje. Javljaju se novi problemi i potrebe za nadogradnjom te je stoga važno pratiti stanje sustava i djelovati u skladu s potrebama i mogućnostima.
Abstract (english)
Bosut lowland, through which the river Bosut flows, is well bounded and separated part of Eastern Croatian lowland. The lowland is full of swamps and meandering water courses and is also a forest rich area. Due to colonization, development of cities, advancement in science and technology the original appearance of the area has rapidly and dramatically changed. This work, in its core contains a description of the natural determinants of Bosut lowland, following colonization and economic development of the region and changes of the original landscape of Slavonia and Srijem. The systematic development of water management activities is analyzed. The needs and circumstances under which certain regulation and melioration facilities were built are described. The role and functioning of hydro technical structures and the entire hydro technical system as functional unit is explored, as well. At the end of this work the plans for further system arrangement and environmental problems which occur in Pobosuće are analyzed. The entire analysis leads to the conclusion that the hydro technical system in Pobosuće is dynamic, complex and unique; it has emerged during many years and current situation requires maintenance. New problems and needs for upgrading appear and therefore is important to track condition of the system and operate in accordance with the needs and possibilities.
