Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjen je postupak određivanja nosivosti tla ispod plitkih temelja, odnosno teorije nosivosti temelja. Prikazan je utjecaj parametara tla i dimenzija temelja na njegovu nosivost putem rješavanja raznih primjera pomoću proračunske tablice za rješavanje problemskih zadataka u programu Microsoft Excel. Parametri tla uključuju koheziju, kut unutarnjeg trenja i zapreminsku težinu tla. Proračunska tablica za određivanje nosivosti tla sadrži ukupno trinaest parametara koje je potrebno unijeti, a koji se odnose na karakteristike tla, nagib i veličinu sile koja djeluje na temelj, dimenzije temelja, faktor sigurnosti te položaj podzemne vode. Rezultat proračuna je karakteristična i proračunska bruto nosivost tla, proračunska neto nosivost tla te dopušteno opterećenje gornje konstrukcije.
Abstract (english)
This thesis will explain the process used for determining the bearing capacity of soil beneath shallow foundations, as well as the theory of bearing capacity from which it was obtained. The influence of soil parameters and foundation dimensions on its bearing capacity will also be shown through the solving of various examples using a spreadsheet for solving practice problems in Microsoft Excel. Soil parameters include cohesion, friction angle and unit wight. Above mentioned spreadsheet contains 13 parameters that need to be entered. They relate to soil characteristics, inclination and magnitude of the load acting on the foundation, foundation dimensions, safety factor and groundwater position. The final result of the calculation is ultimate bearing capacity of shallow foundations.
