Abstract	Postoje četiri vrste sloma u stijenskoj masi, a to su: ravninski, klinasti i rotacijski slom te slom prevrtanjem. U ovom radu riječ je o slomu prevrtanjem. Kod sloma prevrtanjem ne dolazi do klizanja stijenske mase, kao kod ostalih tipova sloma, već dolazi do rotacije blokova oko fiksne baze. Postoje primarni i sekundarnih tipovi prevrtanja, a razlika između njih očituje se u uzroku i redosljedu odvijanja sloma. U sklopu ovog rada analiziran je pokos na području Orehovica-Banska Vrata u Rijeci. Zadatak je riješen primjenom metode analize stabilnosti na blokovsko prevrtanje, koja se sastoji
Abstract (english)	There are four different types of failure in rock masses, like plane and wedge failure, rotational sliding and toppling. This paper is about toppling. The difference between toppling and other types of failure is that toppling involves rotation of columns or blocks of rock about a fixed base. There are primary and secondary types of toppling, and the difference between them is in the cause and order of occuring failure. The slope in the area Orehovica-Banska Vrata, in Rijeka, is analysed in this paper. The problem is solved by using the methods of stability analysis for toppling failures that consists of kinematic tests and limit equilibrium analysis.
