Abstract	Kako je u poslijednjih dvadesetak godina na području grada Rijeka i okolice došlo do određenog zastoja u izgradnji velikih višestambenih građevina, nebodera, iz financijskih, demografskih, ali i prostorno planskih razloga gdje su se pokušale sačuvati osnovne značajke prostora te očuvanje prostora kao javnog medija , sve više se pribjegavalo, a i danas je takav trenad da se grade manji višestambeni objekti počevši od tri stambena prostora po objektu pa na više. Takva izgradnja ponajviše se izražava na rubnim djelovima grada kao i u naseljima u njegovoj oklici. Pošto se rad bazira na analizi višestambenih objekata, biti će napravljena oblikovna, konstruktivna i funkcionalna analiza deset projekata koji su pribavljeni od strane više projektnih ureda kako bi se dobila širina u analiziranju navedenih karakteristika. Svi objekti koji će biti obuhvaćeni analizom, projektirani su i izgrađeni unatrag deset godina i jasno daju sliku o višestambenoj izgradnji na području Grada Rijeke i okolice. Također uz navedene karakteristike koje će biti analizirane, provedeni su kratki razgovori sa projektantima spomenutih projekata kako bi se dobila jasna slika iz kojeg razloga su se investitori odlučivali za izgradnju upravo ovakvog tipa građevina.
Abstract (english)	In the last twenty years, in the area of the city of Rijeka and its surrounding, there has been a certain delay in the construction of large residental buildings, type skyscraper, for financial, demographic and spatial planning reasons, where they tried to preserve the basic features of space and preserve space as a public media. It is increasingly resorting to, and today, it is a trend to build smaller residental buildings, starting from three residental space per building and up. Such construction is mainly expressed in peripheral parts of the city as well as in villages in their surrounding. Paper is based on the analysis of residental buildings, formal, structural and functional analysis of the ten projects that have been obtained by several project offices in order to obtain the width of the analysis of these characteristics. All buildings that will be included in the analysis, are designed and built within ten years ago and clearly give a picture of a residential building in the city of Rijeka and its surrounding area. In order to obtain a clear picture of why investors decided to build just this kind of buildings, above mentioned characteristics will be analyzed and short discussions with project designers of the mentioned projects were carried out.
