Abstract
Vojarna na Dračevcu sagrađena je krajem osamdesetih godina, u čemu zapravo i leži njezina nesretna sudbina. U posljednjih dvadeset godina, koliko je trajala njena devastacija, ona je u sebe trebala primiti nekoliko različitih namjena, a danas se na njenih 14 ha obuhvata koriste dva objekta: u jednom je Općinski sud, a u drugom Restauratorski zavod. Vojarna Dračevac u predgrađu Splita golema je, napuštena i posve devastirana, a njezina potpuna prenamjena značila bi gradu Splitu, kao i njegovoj okolici aktivaciju IT komponente koja, iako rastuća, posljednjih godina biva zanemarena i neprepoznata kao generator razvoja i urbaniteta općenito.
