Abstract
Ispitan je odziv ionsko–selektivnih membrana na srebrove i kloridne ione pri pH = 1 i pH =2. Svako je mjerenje ponovljeno dva puta. Ispitivanje odziva izvršeno je potenciometrijski zbog jednostavnosti metode, niske cijene i praktičnosti. Selektivnost metode povećana je promjenom reakcijskih uvjeta, odnosno promjenom pH otopine uzorka. Membrane su se ispitivale na odziv na osnovne ione (kloridne i srebrove ione) u elektrokemijskoj ćeliji koristeći otopine srebrovog nitrata i perklorne kiseline metodom slijednog razrjeđivanja. Za svako mjerenje zabilježeno je vrijeme potrebno za uspostavu stabilnog potencijala. Razrjeđivanje je trajalo dok razlika između dvaju mjerenja nije iznosila 1-2 mV.
Abstract (english)
The main purpose of this thesis is testing the response of ion–selective membranes on silver and chloride ions in pH = 1 and pH = 2. Each measurement was repeated two times. The potentiometric method was used to test the response because of its simplicity, low cost and practicality. The selectivity of the method is increased by changing the reaction conditions such as the pH of the sample solution. Membrane electrodes are tested for response on primary ions (chloride and silver ions) in electrochemical cell by using silver nitrate and perchloric acid solution using sequentially dilution method. For each measurement it was recorded time required for establishing stable potential. Dilution was made until the potential difference between two measurements reached about 1-2 mV.
