Abstract	Za ostvarenje ciljeva projekta ključno je znanje projektnog menadžera. Kroz certifikaciju projektni menadžeri razvijaju svoje strateške sposobnosti, ostvaruju brojne prednosti prilikom zapošljavanja, a posjedovanjem ovjerenog certifikata raste njihova konkurentska vrijednost. Sve više organizacija koristi projektno usmjerene metode za što je potreban kvalificirani projektni menadžer što čini zanimanje projektnog menadžera sve više traženim kako u svijetu, tako i u Hrvatskoj. Istraživanje rada prikazuje mogućnosti osposobljavanja projektnih menadžera u Republici Hrvatskoj, dolazi do zaključka kako u Republici Hrvatskoj nedostaje praktičnog dijela rada na projektima u obrazovnom sustavu.
Abstract (english)	The knowledge of a project manager is fundamental to reach the goals of the project he's working on. With certifications, project managers develop their strategic abilities, achieve numerous advantages throughout the employment process, and by possessing a signed certificate their competitive value grows. More and more organizations use project aimed methods that requires a qualified project manager, which makes the project manager occupation more popular, in Croatia as in the whole world. The conducted research displays the training possibilities of project managers in Croatia, and comes to the conclusion that Croatia’s project management educational programs are lacking practical work.
