Abstract
Pojedinačne galvano krune su fiksno-protetski radovi koji nadoknađuju izgubljenu funkciju i estetiku pojedinog zuba. Spadaju u skupinu fiksnih radova s metalnom osnovom koja može biti fasetirana keramikom ili kompozitom. Ova vrsta rada predstavlja odličan izbor kod mladih pacijenata s razvijenom morfologijom pulpe i kod pacijenata koji su preosjetljivi na dentalne legure. U prikazanom slučaju rekonstruirana je frontalna regija gornje čeljusti čime joj je vraćena estetika i funkcionalnost. Zbog brojnih indikacija ova tehnika predstavlja dobar izbor u protetskoj terapiji.
Abstract (english)
Individual galvanized crowns are fixed-prosthetics works that compensate for lost function and aesthetics of individual tooth. They belong to a group of fixed works with a metal base that can be faceted with ceramics or composite. This type of work rapresents an excellent choice for young patients with advanced pulp morphology and for patients who are hypersensitive to dental alloys. In the present case, we did the reconstruction of the frontal region of the upper jaw, by which we achieved the aesthetics and functionality. Because of many indications it rapresents a good choice when you need prosthetic therapy.
