Abstract
U ovom se radu nastojalo objasniti kako su teleskopski sustavi izvrsna retencijska sredstva kod protetske rehabilitacije djelomične bezubosti. Indikacija je svakako kod pacijenata s malim brojem preostalih zuba jer osiguravaju pravilan prijenos žvačnih sila na zub. Uz to, ostvaruje se odlična stabilizacija, retencija te zadovoljavajuća estetika donje trećine lica. Period adaptacije je puno kraći u odnosu na ostala retencijska sredstva zbog sigurnog ležaja u usnoj šupljini. Nastavlja se pisati o vrsti teleskopskih sustava, njihovim dijelovima, indikacijama te mehanizmu rada. Objašnjava se uloga teleskopskog sustava kod djelomične proteze, prednosti i nedostatci. U nastavku rada piše se o samoj svrsi izrade djelomične proteze u usnoj šupljini. Objašnjava se plan i postupak same izrade djelomične proteze.
Abstract (english)
In this study attention is on telescopic systems as excellent retentive agents in prosthetic rehabilitation of partial toothlessness. The indications are certain in patients with a small number of remaining teeth. Along with that, excellent stability, retention, and satisfactory aesthetics are achieved in the lower third of the face. The adaptation period is much shorter compared to other retention agents due to a secure bearing in the oral cavity. Mainly, the study speaks about the type of telescopic systems and their indications, the mechanism of operation and parts of the telescopic system itself. Moreover, the role of telescopic system in partial prosthesis, advantages and disadvantages is explained. Also, the study explains the purpose of making a partial denture in the mouth cavity. Nevertheless, it explains the plan and the process of making a partial denture itself.
