Abstract	Karcinom kolona je multifaktorska bolest. U našoj zemlji zauzima drugo mjesto među zloćudnim bolestima, kod muškaraca se nalazi iza karcinoma pluća, akod žena iza raka dojke. Karcinom kolona se liječi multidiciplinarno. Malnutricija je ozbiljan problem koji se javlja kod pacijenata sa karcinomom debelog crijeva. Etiologija malnutricije je multifaktorska. Nutritivna potpora je vrlo važna kod pacijenata sa karcinomom kolona. Enteralna prehrana je prehrana prvog izbora, dok se parenteralna prehrana primjenjuje u slučajevima kad enteralna prehrana nije moguća.
Abstract (english)	Colon cancer is a multifactorial disease. In our country it is on the second place among malignant diseases, in men after lung carcinoma, and in women after breast carcinoma. The treatment of colon cancer is multidisciplinary. Malnutrition is a serious problem in patients with colon cancer. The etiology of malnutrition is multifactorial. Nutrition support is very important in patients with colon cancer. Enteral nutrition is the therapy of choice, and parenteral nutrition is used in cases, where enteral nutrition is not possible.
