Abstract
Nadogradnja je fiksnoprotetski nadomjestak pomoću kojeg se nadograđuje dio ili cijela kruna zuba. Nadogradnja je sastavljena od intraradikulanog dijela koji se sidri u korijenu zuba i retinira koronarnu jezgru, odnosno ekstraradikularni dio koji nadoknađuje dio ili cijelu krunu izbrušenog zuba (bataljka). Prije same preparacije za nadogradnju potrebno je endodontski tretirati zub. Preparacija kanala obuhvaća intraradikularnu preparaciju kanala te preparaciju koronarnog dijela zuba u obliku bataljka. Ovisno o indikaciji moguće je zub opskrbiti individualnom nadogradnjom ili konfekcijskom. Cementiranje nadogradnje završni je korak u rehabilitaciji nadogradnjom nakon čega u adekvatnoj fiksnoprotetskoj rehabilitaciji slijedi izrada definitivnog protetskog nadomjestka. .
Abstract (english)
A dental post and core is a type of fixed prosthetic restoration which provides a build up for an inadequate tooth structure. It consists of an intraradicular part, the post, which is inserted into the root canal providing anchor for the coronal part, the core, which re-places missing coronal structure. An endodontic treatment must be performed before the placement of the post and core. The preparation for the restoration consists in two steps, the intraradicular phase and the coronal preparation. Cast and prefabricated post and core systems are used for the restoration of damaged or endodontically treated teeth. Cementation is the final step of the fixed prosthetic treatment
