Abstract	Cilj istraživanja je bio uvidjeti koliko je česta traumatska ozljeda zuba u sportovima s loptom. Osim toga, istraživanje daje informacije o znanju roditelja i sportaša o hitnoj reakciji nakon nastupanja ozljede zuba, te postotak onih koji su spremni educirati se o traumama zuba te na koje načine bi to željeli. Za dobivanje rezultata, koristio se anketni upitnik od 19 pitanja za roditelja i 30 pitanja za sportaša. Rukomet i košarka su sportovi koji su obuhvaćeni u istraživanju. Anketirano je 127 roditelja i isti broj sportaša na prostoru grada Rijeke, Republika Hrvatska. 8 sportaša je doživjelo traumatsku ozljedu zuba tijekom sportskih aktivnosti, dok njih 10 izvan sportskih terena. Rezultati pokazuju nisku učestalost traumatskih ozljeda te nezadovoljavajuću educiranost roditelja i sportaša o hitnom tretmanu.
Abstract (english)	The aim of this research was to determine how often is traumatic injury of tooth in sports with ball. Beside that, research give information about parent and athlete knowledge about urgent treatment after injury of the tooth, and percentage of them how are prepare in future to educate themselves and way of education about this topic. In pursuit for results, questionnaire was use. Questionnaire had 19 questions for parents and 30 for athletes. It was conducted on handball and basketball. 127 parents and athletes are interviewed in city of Rijeka, Croatia. Eight athletes had tooth injury on sport court, and 10 athletes outside. Results show low incidence of injuries and unsatisfied parent and athlete knowledge of urgent treatment.
