Pregnancy is a new, changed condition characterized by numerous anatomic, histological, hormonal, immune, nutritional, psychological and other changes of the body. During pregnancy, coagulation and fibrinolytic systems change considerably, resulting in increased fibrin formation and reduced ability to remove it by fibrinolysis. Because of all this changes pregnancy causes the hypercoagulable state of the organism. In pathological pregnancies, haemostatic disorders are caused by the consumption of coagulation and platelets which are lost through the process of Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC). The most common obstetric complications associated with DIC are: placental abruption, prolonged retention of the dead fetus, amniotic fluid embolism, hypertensive sodium chloride and urea-induced abortions, intrauterine infections and endotoxic shock, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome and preeclampsia. Analgesia in maternity with hematological disorders require a multidisciplinary approach and collaboration of experts in the field of hematology, obstetrics and anesthesiology. During the anesthetic treatment of pregnant women with hematological diseases and the preparation of anesthesia plan, special attention should be paid to the specificity of the hematological problem, as well as the comorbidities and peculiarities of the ophthalmic situation. Regardless of the cause and type of pain, epidural analgesia remains the gold standard for severe pain.
