Abstract Holistički pristup bolesniku je temelj zdravstvene skrbi i uključuje pacijenta/klijenta, njegovu obitelj te zajednicu u kojoj pojedinac živi te je njezin neodvojiv dio. Važnost holističkog pristupa je dokazana, osobito u zbrinjavanju kroničnih bolesnika.
Dobra informiranost pacijenta i/ili njegove obitelji, koja se može postići isključivo kvalitetnim komuniciranjem sa zdravstvenim osobljem, je njihovo temeljno pravo i preduvjet poboljšanju zdravlja. Domene kroz koje se zdravlje može povećati su dostupnost potrebnoj skrbi, povećanje pacijentova znanja i zajedničko razumijevanje problema, jačanje terapijskog saveza, unaprjeđenje sposobnosti pacijentova nošenja s emocijama, jačanje obiteljske i socijalne podrške, medicinske odluke temeljene na dokazima te jačanje osnaženosti i zastupanja pacijenta.
Ciljevi ovog istraživanja su bili ispitati razinu te izvor informiranosti članova obitelji pacijenata, razinu zadovoljstva komunikacije, samoprocjene kvalitete života s naglaskom na anksioznost i depresivnost te utvrditi povezanost samoprocjene kvalitete života i spola, duljine bolesti pacijenata, dobi članova obitelji, informiranosti, zadovoljstva komunikacijom, socijalne podrške te emocionalnog statusa. Ispitanici su bili članovi obitelji pacijenata odjela III Službe Novi Marof, a instrumenti istraživanja su bili upitnici informiranosti, zadovoljstva komunikacijom, SF-36 te HAD ljestvica.
Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju statistički značajnu negativna korelaciju emocionalnog statusa, anksioznosti i depresivnosti, sa samoprocjenom kvalitete života članova obitelji oboljelog, dok je povezanost samoprocjene kvalitete života i socijalne podrške
pozitivna. Povezanost samoprocjene kvalitete života i informiranosti članova obitelji granično je statistički značajna i pozitivna.
Rezultati upućuju na potrebu kvalitetne komunikacije između zdravstvenog osoblja i članova obitelji.
Abstract (english) Holistic approach to the patient is the foundation of health care and involves the
patient / client, his family, and the community in which the individual lives. The
importance of holistic approach has been proved, especially in the treatment of
chronic patients.
Good information of the patient and / or family, is a fundamental right and a
prerequisite for improving health, and can be achieved by quality communication with
health personnel. Domains through which health can be increased are the availability
of necessary care, increased patient knowledge and common understanding of the
problem, strengthening the therapeutic alliance, enhancing the patient's ability to
carry emotions, strengthening family and social support and strengthening the
patient's strengths.
The aim of this study was to examine the level and source of information of patient
family members, the level of communication satisfaction, self-assessment of life
quality with an emphasis on anxiety and depression, and to establish the correlation
between self-assessment of quality of life, patient disease, family members and
information.
Respondents were family members of the patients in Section III of the New Marof Department, and research tools were questionnaires of information, satisfaction with communication, SF-36 and HAD scale. The results of the research show a statistically significant negative correlation of emotional status, anxiety and depression, self-assessment of the quality of life of family members of the affected family, while the correlation of self-assessment quality of life and social support is positive. The correlation of the self-assessment quality of life and information of the family members is statistically significant and positive.
The results showed that a good communication between health professionals and family members is needed.
